Okay here it is.... I suck. I suck at this game hard.. Can't aim and kill myself with katon and jutsus that require aim in general. I'm that guy that will raid and boulder myself and give enemy 3 kos from killing myself.

I was wondering if you guys had any advice on a respectful clan I should go and element. (How do I learn by playing Kumo ya know?) Pro tips from you pro players, that's all I ask.

I'm open to any style of play besides clone spam and poison. Thank you all <3

No clone spam? Awwww...That's all I'm doing this era. =(

Anyway, Raiton is a steady element, dealing straight vitality damage, (Vitality damage isn't mitigated by the endurance stat.) and can stun, disorientate, "and" nerve screw handseals with enough EP invested, allowing you to set up combos more fluidly and accurately.

Suiton is also pretty mean this era, capable of dealing stamina damage high enough that is damages willpower. Also has afew vitality hitters, but may require abit more skill to maximize, as even with the proper passives, you deal less damage when not standing in water, and certain jutsu, like water dragon, have an additional bonus when on water.

As for respectable clans, Kumo is pretty solid this era with alot of mobility control, Kusakin's pretty strong this era and has a field changing technique, alot with vitality damaging moves and a wood shield iirc. Satou is really tanky and can take alot of damage, and Shiroi or Kami are pretty solid as well with vitality damaging techniques.

Practice. And when you get tired of practicing, practice even more. I'll be doing a youtube series on what makes a good NFF player, stay tuned and watch for OOC. Here are a couple tips to get you started.

1. Watch Arena. Take notes on what the good players are doing and how they are playing.

2. Master Shushin. If you know how to shushin your litterely better than a lot of the players playing the game.

3. It takes Time. I recently got "good" at NFF. I have played for about 1 year now. The first half of the time I was playing was spent on getting to know the game well. The second half was spent on arena/combat. Last Era, I won 1 arena out of a total of 30. This Era, I have managed to win 50% of all arena's. Next era, I hope to improve upon that number.

Edit: The best way to learn is to experiment with different clans/builds. What would I recommend?
5/35/15 Enton with Genius/Adamant (Make sure to get the +6 in Nin). Go Raiton/Doton. Spend the SP points on Shushin passives (Get the distance+ Spam one first, spend some points on Kenjutsu and use the remaining for the less chakra drain). Make the character in Leaf because it has the best village jutsu's imo. Anyways, learn to Shushin on this character or you won't reach your full potential. Basics are really nice for learning the game because they strip things down to...a basic level.

One last comment, People in this community enjoy seeing others fail. They revile in the feeling of it. Notice how Tsukioni could have spent the time he used making that "funny" post into making one that could potentially help you? Anyways, keep playing. Keep raiding, and most importantly WATCH arena's. I'll be releasing a video in a couple days explaining this process in more depth. Peace, and I hope to get a chance to fight you in the arena. :)

You just need to go and use things that promote poor aim and macro things that will get you sure hits.

Nff is pretty forgiving to people that can't aim in general, but clan wise it can be broken down into tiers pretty easily. I may be a bit vague on some of these clans but that because i later explain it with jutsus/builds

Tier 1
Kumojin, or Nara- both promote poor aim and are relatively easy

Tier 2
Aburame, or Kojiki- Aburame is purely just targetting your opponent and doesnt require aim unless you build to actually need to aim. Kojiki you just need you opponents blood and requires very little aim in general depending on how you build (Might need to be lower on the list a simplified it by alot)

Tier 3
Shiroi, or Kusakin- Shiroi is pretty simple and self explanitory with mirrors. Kusakin with forest and or vines similar to shiroi i recommend this clan for beginners, but the clan is more open to building how you want this clan basically gives you everything you could want in a clan and allows you to build how you like. Both clans don't require much aim if you choose to build them like that.

Tier 4
Iwazuka, or Sabaku- Both clans don't require aim at all really and have Ohkos that make up for any lack of skill on your end. Iwazuka you just move your mouse at people or put bombs on the ground. Sabaku is basically all targeted jutsus atleast the ones that matter(Besides the ohkos) These are low on the list because they require a little more and aren't as simple as the others(Sabaku might need to be higher)

Elements (Shiroi and Kusakin can actually branch into alot more elements then im going to put them under)

Doton- A common thing you see in nff now adays is swamp tons of people use it and it promotes poor aim very well. You just fill area your fighting in with swamp and either they are forced to fight in it or have to go to the edges where they can easily be hit whether you have good aim or not. Doton also has pillars that aoe around you and can easily be comboed into one of dotons other 2 stun jutsus for free kos. clans- Kusakin/Kumojin/kojiki/sabaku/iwazuka/aburame/Nara

Katon- katon is filled with wipe spread dmg that if your not careful with can fuck you over but it also has a number on pinpoint jutsus that can easily ohko or atleast deal an enormous amount of dmg if they are forced to stand on them. Clans- Kumojin/Kojiki

Suiton- Suiton has alot of easily hit jutsu along with stuns, but the trade off is they leave you somewhat vulnerable this element is also surprisingly adaptable for how little people outside of rain use it. Clans- Kumojin/Shiroi/Sabaku/Aburame/Kusakin/Nara/Kojiki/Iwazuka

Raiton- Raiton has a few moves that allow people who lack aim thrive but id mainly say Jibashi and Raikiri are all your really going to get out of these. Now something to remember is raiton has a stun passive and a movement screw passive that both allow for quick 1, 2 Combos with various techs. Clans- Kumojin

Fuuton- Fuuton promotes lack of aim pretty well mainly being Daitoppa you can basically macro any jutsu that requires very little to no handseals to it for a free hit and or ohko. Clans- Kumojin/Nara/Kojiki/Shiroi/Sabaku/Iwazuka

Obviously you can also combine the elements as u see fit to get maximum benefit

Builds

Phy its pretty simple and depends more on the style you go it promotes lack of aim pretty well. Clans- All of them but the building gets complicated

Cap is basically what gives u all the element stuff. Clans- All of them

Con is practically the no aim build it has very little to nothing you need to aim not very many people will probably like hearing it but its 100% true. what you will mainly want from here is Gen they require no skill or aim at all which is a god send. Con also provides alot more resourceful and amazing jutsu that require little to no aim at all. Clans- All of them

This is basically just my insight on the game as someone who also cant aim been around for 7 years never got better at aiming never really hurt me, Ive also played each clan ive mentioned in the past year or two so the information should be accurate.

Notes
Alot of people aren't nearly as bad as they think they are they just build poorly or make odd builds combining vit and stam dmg poorly so they never ko anyone.

Alot of the time the only thing seperating People being better is just simply blocking and body flickering when u need to.

Wires are a really good aim assist whether via dense wires or just normal wiring.

Double macro everybody does it.

Macro body flicker a easy to press button on your keyboard and always press it. I subconciously always press body flicker whether i already have one prepared or not.

Alot of nff is just experience so just play the game and dont be afraid to take a loss

Exactly. LOL. (22/23/10 build, but basically the same thing.)

But ayyeee, in all seriousness, agreed with Mikki and Zane. They hit the nail on the head. Specifically as they mentioned respectively, master body flicker and don't be afraid to fight. Settle down kiddo's, it's Yaku story time.~

When I first started, I was bad, like, legitly so bad. In my first month, I had to team 4v1 against a moderately trained player when they raided. I decided to fight every oldbie I got the chance to fight, and damn, did I get my ass kicked. But an older player, Agassi, showed me just how good body flicker was one day, and gave me afew tips on how to master it.

So, I trained, and fought even more. I'd seek the strongest players of the era and promptly get my ass kicked, but I learned from each and every fight. In time, muscle memory began to build, and seeing the motions of the game became easier. Back in my prime in 2012, I was able to if not win, closely match many of the high grade players. (Not all, but many.) I once even managed a raid on rock, successfully fighting back 6+ people myself, and still holding my ground when the Kage came in with reinforcements. Moral of the story, getting good in the game takes awhile, but practice pays off, big time.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you refine your skills Tyler.~ =P
